Wacom tablet pen will not move cursor

So anyone who knows a lot about Wacom tablets, I need your help.

I've been at a relative's all day, and the tablet worked perfectly fine. When I brought it home and plugged it in, it no longer worked! The cursor just simply stayed in the top left corner of my screen. D: Someone please help if they can! My tablet is a small Wacom pen tablet, if you need that.

I've had a LOT of tablet troubles before, so I emailed the wacom support people. this is what they sent back.

Wacom wrote:

Disconnect the tablet from the computer
Open your Start Menu and then the Control Panel
Open Programs and Features
Uninstall any listing here for Tablet or Wacom Tablet and then restart the computer
After restarting, download and install only the latest driver from here

if this is too much of a hassle for you (it is for me) you can just close all the windows open on your computer and install the driver a couple times until the popup at the end of installation just has an OK button, instead of an option to restart now or later. but this might not work with your specific problem.

if none of this works, email wacom support! the email address is support@wacom . com

It’s such a little thing to weep—
So short a thing to sigh—
And yet—by Trades—the size of these
We men and women die!

Thanks! What actually worked, though, is me just unplugging the tablet and shutting down my computer, then restarting the computer and plugging the tablet back in. Huh.

This is a pretty common problem. Try searching google for help on this, and make sure you installed everything correctly. It's been such a long time since mine's had this problem that I've forgotten how to fix this.

I'm installing the latest driver right now and the ‘nets said that that would fix it.

Thank you for you’re help.
