Other than that, there isn't much ideas to think of as the stage builder is really limited, despite the freehand platform drawing.

This probably won't work for a variety of reasons, including the three listed below.
1. Minecraft is a third-party game and I'm not so sure Sakurai would like any more third-party characters in-game, even with Ryu as DLC.
2. This is a bit of a flawed argument with some contradiction sure to arise (it's also more or less opinion), but Minecraft is an indie game released in 2011 which doesn't contrast well with the other in-game franchises in terms of age. Despite the fact Little Mac was brought back into relevance with the 2009 release of Punch-Out!!, his first ever appearance was in 1987 (the first ever game in the series was released in 1983 in Japan also, and 1984 overseas). Even Greninja, a relatively new Pokemon, is from a franchise that was made back in the ‘90s.
3. Opinion on this one, but Steve just doesn’t seem to fit with the Nintendo universe. His blocky appearance and stiff movement doesn't contrast well with the more fluid and cartoon-like Nintendo characters.
Also, I voted for Piston Hondo, so I'm not going to vote again.
I'm very sorry if this seemed antagonizing. If Steve was revealed for SSB4, I wouldn't mind. If you voted for Steve, cool. These are just my views. (Also, obviously, Mojang is now owned by Microsoft. He probably has a better chance than Banjo and Kazooie, but it's still a little bit unlikely.)
