Halo ODST: Left Behind
Hello! I don't post often on these forums, but aim to start doing that now. And what better way to start than to showcase what I've been up to!
I've always been passionate about scratch, as I found it one of the easiest ways to make games. I like to push scratch to its limits with all my games. If you take a look at my profile, I've made several games using a 3D engine, with many more on the way. But the one I would like to talk about today, is Halo ODST: Left Behind.
I don't like to brag, but I must say this game is something I an extremely excited to release. I truly believe it will be one of the best games on scratch. (Aside from Griffpatch's games of course.) The game runs on my new and improved D7 engine. However, I don't really know how to get attention with this game, so I have posted it on this forum. It features:
3D world
Multiple enemy types
Over 8 different weapons (5 done, 3 WIP)
Weapon swapping
Primary and secondary weapon slots
Full length story driven campaign (All Halo Lore accurate)
Cutscenes
Voice acting
Authentic Halo sounds and soundtrack
Different difficulty settings
Dynamic weather
VISR
You can take a look at the gameplay trailer here. It showcases the engine's 3d abilities and basic mechanics of gameplay.

I have also created a website for the game, which can be found here:
(Link coming soon)
From here on out, I think I am just going to keep this thread as a place where I will post my progress on the game
See you on the other side!

Halo ODST: Left Behind
Back with another update!
With the release of Mission 1, I'm excited as to where this game where go. If you guys could vote for the game to be featured, that would be awesome!
Anyways, I would just like to address a few things
-The d7 engine will be released AFTER the completion of the Halo ODST: Left Behind Series
-The d7 engine editing kit will be released complete with sample main menu, enemies, and weapons
-The amount of enemies spawned in the first mission's ambush has been reduced. I agree, it was almost impossible to beat on Legendary!
-Missions release dates can be found on the Countdown Project as “Next Mission Release Date”
-The weapons featured in mission 1 and the Countdown project are not the only weapons you will be able to use. I still plan on adding more weapons from the series!
-You will be able to interact with more objects and control things(For example, machine gun turrets, power generators, possibly vehicles? etc)
Thanks again, everybody!
