Scratch 2.0 Editor and Viewer Not Working

Whenever I attempt to view any project on the Scratch 2.0 Beta website, the project viewing area remains white, and it's impossible to enter the editor for my projects or anyone else's.
Does anyone know why this is? Besides still running Internet Explorer 8.0, everything seems normal…

Hmm… Interesting. Have you always not been able to see the projects on 2.0, or is this a new development?

This is definitely a new development. I've previously been able to view all Scratch projects, even on the Scratch 1.4 Flash player…

Have you ever been able to see projects on the Scratch 2.0 site? How is your internet connection usually?

I had this same issue plus an extra bar that shouldn't be there, though after AdamLaughlin showed me how to fix the bar issue, everything else worked as well! Since you're using IE8 (vs. my IE9), I think that it should work for you as well. So, just follow these steps:

Edit: I found a way to force IE9 to use standards mode. The change should make it to the beta site soon. Until then…

For the IE9 upgrade bar issue, try this:
1. Open internet explorer.
2. Press and release the ALT key to show the menu bar.
3. Click “tools” in the menu bar.
4. Select “Compatibility View Settings”.
5. Uncheck “Display all websites in Compatibility View”.
6. Close the Compatibility View Settings window.
7. Refresh the page.

Edit: If you're in compatibility view, it will also break most code on the site, so projects and such won't work either.
I hope that this helps!

I've tried checking and unchecking all boxes within the Compatibility View Settings, and projects still cannot function…
Any ideas?

@scmb1, I was able to view projects from my computer… Once. It hasn't worked before or since…

That's exactly how it's happened to me, which is how I've been forced to find another solution. Just to make sure, what browser is this happening on?

By browser, do you mean Internet Explorer 8 or something else?

Well yes, that would mean IE8 (Internet Explorer 8), Google Chrome, Firefox, and the others.
