Higher Resolution Bitmap Images and more

The Vector editor is quite limited and bitmap images are the obvious solution. You should have an option to compress the images imported, and enable higher resolution within the bitmap editor. Another technical addition that would be nice, is having a little more optimization. Scratch runs very slowly, and this can easily be fixed.

limited? Pffft Vector can do anything bitmap can do, and in BETTER STYLE.
Name one thing. ONE. THING.

as for your suggestion, just compress whatever you want in Gimp or Krita or whatever floats your boat so it's 480x360 and can be imported at high quality.

Yes, vector can do anything bitmap can, but scratch's vector editor is TERRIBLE!

The only thing I find wrong with the Scratch editor is not being able to group points. What are you having trouble with? I do all my drawing in the Scratch Vector editor.

That's EXACTLY what I have trouble with…

Correct. It really is annoying to not be able to fill in an object because the points aren't grouped correctly.

but for more detailed photos, vector takes more space

(but vctor is better for computer drawings (except on scratch where the vector editor isn't that great))

There is a game on here called “Creature” (I was super hyped for it on my old account along with many, AND I MEAN MANY, others), and it is mostly vector. @-TheDoctor- (the creator of Creature), met some space issues, so they compressed some of the not-so-important graphics to bitmap.
So it IS possible to make a full game with mostly vector graphics.
One thing I NEARLY forgot: He used Photoshop, imported the graphics to Inkscape, then exported them to .svg files so it would be high def, no matter the size of it.

Actually, I was talking about moving two points at once.
For your problem, you just need to connect two points and then you can fill… easy peasy lemon squeezy.
