Possible Solutions for the Problem of "ADD EVERYTHING" Studios

I agree. And look at this. I said that I DO NOT want this in Add Everything studios, and they add it.

It seems like most new scratchers do it for the popularity/spam. I'm annoyed.

I really like it, because as you said it would be the
solution with the fewest problems.

They can easily find projects. They can go to the Show and Tell forums, check out the newest projects, click in users' profiles on the comments of other projects.

Yes they would, believe us. No one goes to AE studios just for getting ideas. If new Scratchers need ideas or help, there are plenty of places to go to:

Studios that have everything are just a mumbo jumbo version of what is the more organized scratch website, where you can view projects of specific categories. Click on the explore tab, and you can view projects in categories, like Animations, Games, etc.

Also, even though add everything studios encourage teamwork, so do the studios that actually have a real category. Team up to help find projects of that category! I think that using a studio with a category would be a lot better in this case.

A project trying to help new scratchers away from these studios was added to about 3 or 4, ‘ADD EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE 34252 PROJECTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ (Not real name) They are just new scratchers wanting attention or fame. And that when the whole fame trade comes in… Add everythings are useless, they just make scratchers angry that their project was not even looked at, just thrown in a big box, in a never ending race to get the most fame and projects. They must take up lots of server space too… These people should stop, no one would look at a ‘ADD EVERYTHING STUDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ to find a cool project, they would look at users or studios with topics, like the ‘Great Games’, or ‘Math Problems To Solve!’.

I really hope that the ST actually consider any of these options, so far the only non-scratcher/new-scratcher to post is scimonster.

Hello guys. I found something truly horrific as I was browsing Scratch. I was looking in the comments of an ae studio, and look at what I found.

I don't know. This will be harder to fix than we thought.

I have a new statistic to report.
I did a Google Advanced Search and found that there are about 3,550 studios that contain the exact phrase, “add all projects”.
1,110 containing “add everything”.
213 containing “biggest gallery”.
33 containing “biggest studio”.
47,800 containing “add your projects”.
This adds up to 52,706 ae studios and counting!
BTW, this is the search term I used: “insert studio name here” site:scratch.mit.edu/studios
