The reason Scratch Jr is allowed is because it's more of a game than a programming language. I don't know what hopscotch is , but I'm guessing it falls under the same principles.

Apple allows programming apps, not apps which run executed code.

I think ScratchJr should have cloning of characters.

I use the beta-version of ScratchJr on Android 4.2, see ScratchJr for Android Beta Testers https://plus.google.com/communities/103771289838873249725 . Android doesn't have the limitations on apps that Apple enforces for iOS. E.g. an Android-app on Google Play can have its own app-store.

I'd like to see the ability to save the project to Dropbox/iCloud/ iTunes so that it can be loaded on another device.

Along with this, individual logins, a I have two kids who may work on the same iPad.

Any plans to have it universal, so that it could work (somehow) on an iPhone or iPod? At least a 6/6+?

I think scratchjr should have an eraser and costumes and of course variables
