Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare

I have been playing this ever since it was free on PS4 on Dec 8 & 9. I am rank 26 or something like that, and use the Cactus and Footsoldier.

I will divide the main post into many parts, being:

Tips
Coin Farming
Strategies

Tips

Depending on what your play style is, your best character will vary.

For long range players, your best choices are for:

Plants: Cactus
Zombies: Footsoldier

For medium range players, you will want:

Plants: Sunflower, Peashooter
Zombies: Footsoldier, All-Star

For close range people:

Plants: Chomper, Peashooter (mainly the law pea)
Zombies: Footsoldier, Scientist, Engineer

Coin-Farming

Plants:
Any non-kill based gamemode (In other words no Team Vanquish or Vanquish Confirmed)
Be a cactus and find a roof with a good view of the map. Set up camp and get critical shots, and deploy your drone do drop some corn strikes.

The coin payout in this method is determined by your vanquish streaks. The coins for each kill goes as follows:
1 Kill | 25 coins
2 Kills | 50 Coins
3 Kills | 75 coins
4 Kills | 100 coins
5+ Kills | 200 coins

Take the vanquish streak payout and add any other modifiers such as:
Critical Vanquish | +20 coins
Save and ally | +50 coins for each ally saved
Defending/Attacking Vanquishes | +100 coins
Bomber Vanquish | +50(?) coins

As you can see, you can easily get a large amount of coins for a single kill, will the total possible being roughly 770 coins (450 for 9 allies saved, 200 for 5+ streak, 20 for critical, and 100 for defending/attacking)

I have gotten upwards of 30,000 coins in one game of Gardens and Graveyards mode

Strategies

Yeah, I would wait until it goes on sale, or if what ever market you are using (xbox, psn, steam) is having a “spend x amount get y amount free” deal

2)commando pea or future cactus or bandit cactus
3)astronaut or tank commander or super commando!

Recently got back into this game and I must say it's really fun. I hope gw2 is good, it looks a bit different though.
