I don't know about you guys, but I enjoy learning languages. I've tried to learn languages on many different programs, but there are many problems with them, including price. I was wondering if any of you guys also think this is a problem and want to help me with a scratch language learning program. Oh, by the way, here is the studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/1340982/projects/
Thank you for your time,

Okay, but a couple of questions: Exactly what type of Chinese do you speak and also, are you fluent in German?

I have a question:

Are we going to make project that teach people basic words or a complicated project that will teach like a fourth of the language?

That's a very complicated question. We will be making a project that plans to help people become fluent, but we don't yet know if we will be able to find the right people to be able to make that a reality, so some languages might be able to help people become fluent while others will only teach people basics. The reason that I am currently asking for basic words is that these words will turn into levels (lv. 1 lv. 2 ect.) and I will be asking for more advanced words and phrases as time passes and more languages are added, older languages will have more levels in them. So really, if you wanted to, you could make another level 2 Spanish project (I saw your first one. It was great!) and I would add the words to the beta version of the project

Can I make like backdrops of basic words (something similar to the Basic Spanish project I made) for giving us some ideas for some basic words.

Sorry but I have another question:

Are we only going to do the main language and dialects of a country or just the main language of a country?

Well, probably just the main languages, but this topic can get confusing in, say, Spain. Spain's main language is Spanish, but that would actually depend on who you ask, for example, if you at a Catalan person what the main languages of Spain are, they would sat Spanish and Catalan. What I mean is many countries have main languages and other languages, both I hope to have on this project, but I would say no dialects.

well, I was thinking we could have “Cantonese (A Chinese Dialect)” and also some dialects are VERY related to the main language so it won't require as much time as some other projects.

I was going to say that Chinese is the only language in which dialects are acceptable, and when dialects are closely related to main languages (like French and Canadian French) it is not necessary to have dialects included, due to close similarity.
