Gravity Falls is currently on Season 2, episode 9 when this topic has been started,I have watched every episode two! It was already confirmed who the author was, but I have a theory about who the bag of ice represents on the bill cipher wheel. (Actually vailskibum94 created this theory). There is a code about the time baby being frozen in a ice glacier, and another code from Bill Cipher's point of view that says global warming will soon melt something more powerful than me! (This part I'm about to tell you is my theory). In the episode time travelers pig, we could see the time baby destroying the world. Of course, that was the future. Maybe when the ice glacier melts, this event will happen, and that will be the apacolypse! They put the ice bag in season one twice to distract us from the real person.
I have watched every episode so far about 3 times, and have some theories.
-Soos is evil / works for government
This is a very supported theory. Soos knowing more than he lets on shows quite a bit. Bill Cipher, who can read minds, calls Soos ‘smart.’ Soos is shown to someday want ownership of the mystery shack. When Stan borrows Dipper's journal and Mabel wonders what he would want with it, Soos comes the minute after she says it and distracts them. In ‘The Time Traveler’s Pig,' Soos predicts the future of Stan being knocked off ‘Dunk Stan’ by an laser arm gun, and a creature stealing his screwdriver. In ‘Blendin’s Game,' when Dipper and Mabel give him his time wish, he wishes for 2 things - an infinite pizza and Dipper and Mabel to be better - with 1 time wish, Although that could just be a behind-the-scenes mistake. In one of the games, a code is, ‘the handyman knows more than you think.’ Soos is most likely the handyman, as that is his job at the mystery shack. May be forgetting stuff….
I also think Robbie's a zombie X3
Reply with your theories!

Little thing for all of y'all to think about until the next episode (July 13th, as TopazKitty said above ^)
Alex Hirsch tweeted a cryptogram which decodes to “Dipper is not what he seems”
This could point to a number of things, if you ask me, and could also support the “Dipper is still Bipper” theory.

The thing with the ‘Dipper is still Bipper’ theory is that Dipper got his body back, but there's a theory that when Dipper turned to wood (in Northwest Mansion Mystery), he was taken over by Bill. In Not What He Seems, when the portal is activated, Dipper's eyes look like Bill's.

Yeah, I know! I've watched tons of his theories; they're great

July 13th.Wait a second, July 13th 2015? If we go back in time to 2012, the day that July 13 was on was a Friday. Yes. The next episode is called the ‘Tale of the Two Stans’ and will premiere on Friday The 13th. That makes me think that the episode will be unlucky, and it also makes me think that someone will die in the episode, most likely Stan, Dipper, or Mabel.
At least it's not for sure.

Why that particular moment, though? What would make the moment Dip turns to wood perfect for Bill to control his body again?Little thing for all of y'all to think about until the next episode (July 13th, as TopazKitty said above ^)

Also, I noticed that thing with Dipper's eyes, too. Strange, really, what happened there, with everyone turning blue and all.
My personal theory is a bit like the “Dipper is still Bipper” one. I think that Bill, though not completely possessing Dipper, still has a presence in Dip's mind. Unlike when he chooses to appear to people (a la Dreamscapers and early Sock Opera) Bill is more subtle here. Perhaps some sort of fragmentation happened when Bill was thrown out of Dipper's body, or perhaps this happens whenever he leaves a vessel. But in my theory, Bill is subtly messing with Dipper's mind and decisions, causing him to be mistrustful of Stan and more wary about opening the portal.

My theories
-Bill controls the government agents (Operatio Northwoods) They will turn the town then the world into bill's slaves!!!
-Soos' Fatheer is the author, 2nd Stan aka the author, although no exact proof and things against it
-stanford is 3rd assistant

All I have to say is: I want more bill and I am very hyped for the next episode. I was not ready for the last one. With Stanley and the portal thing and all of it… just wow.

I predict EVERYONE WILL BE SLAIN FROM BILL'S INCREDIBLE MIGHT. Or they could defeat him by working together. Either way it will be awesome.

Stan's brother being the author is pretty obvious… maybe even too obvious. In fact, everyone seems to take the fact for granted. What if he isn't actually the author at all? In that case, the glasses on the Cipher Wheel represent Stan's twin, and the hand represents the true author.
Although I must say, the six-fingered hand is pretty strong evidence. But this is just something to consider.

All y'all have very convincing points, but ur forgetting one person-SOOS. First of all, we know Soos can't be the author, because in The episode “Not what he seems”, Soos mentions he wants to be legally adopted by Stan. So we can rule out that Soos is Stan's bro. BUT!!! Have u guys ever noticed Soos is the only main character in the show who doesn't have a prison record? Think about it– Stan went to jail in columbia, Dipper and Mabel were counterfitting $100 bills with Stan in S1 E2 “The Legend of the Gobblewonker”, and you might not know it, but Wendy went to Jail for crashing a car into a lake! I don't know exactly what this means, but we know that Soos is the only character with a clean slate! Your thoughts?
