Possible Solutions for the Problem of "ADD EVERYTHING" Studios

I have one and it's just a bit of fun. Try to see how many projects you can get. And the reasons you give for not having them aren't great. If people are that interested they will look at the studios to see if there is one. It's common sense.

I can never find a good collection of projects because half the studios are “add all”. Notice, an “add all” studio has never been features. I'm not being particularly against you

, but they annoy me a lot, as its difficult to find a theme of projects.

It's not as easy as that. The creator should be able to communicate with the viewers. The viewers shouldn't have to go through unnecessary work to find something. More often that not, such studios as the one I used in my post don't exist, so the viewer would naturally assume that such a studio doesn't exist.

Again, I'm not against you, and it's interesting to see your comment.

Support. A bunch of my projects are in these random add everything studios, and I'd love for them to be taken out…..

It really bugs me when those are the FIRST studios I see.

Also, the huge downside is that I keep getting asked to curate these, and they clog up my message board.

I think studios you add your own project into should rise to the top and be marked differently: e.g.

I make a project about jelly beans, and put the project in a few jelly bean project studios.
60 people add it to their “EVERYTHING 10,0000,00,00,0 AQUARIUMTANKHELP” studios.
Then the studio box looks like this:

Studios (63) …… See all
☆ Candyyyyyyyy
☆ Jelly Bean Club
☆ I Love Jelly Beans
Everything
1,000,000 PROJECTS

Support. It would be hard for you to ask studio curators to remove your project, as some might think that the ST features studios because they have 1000000000000 projects, and not because they are inspiring and great uses of scratch.

-_- Yes, we know. But Paddle2See specifically said they aren't going to ban them just because we say they're pointless. They serve a teamwork purpose. But as more and more are being made, it seems more of a silly game to people rather than any actual teamwork involved. We're trying to find solutions to this craze to restore the true purpose of the studio.

I think the best solution is allowing you to remove your own projects.

how about this:
1 projects are curated like studios 1st curator is moderator
2 curator request must be accepted by moderator (not curators for spam problems)
3 moderator can turn off ability for others to add project to studios

I'm sorry, but I don't see what that solves in terms of the AE studios… although I have noticed that the problem of AE studios has majorly increased since 2.0 because of curatorships so you may have something there.

But what if a curator is leaving Scratch and wants to carry on the studio and so wants to make someone else what you call a moderator.

But I seriously don't think that it should show you a message when your project gets added to one of those studios. Instead it should show you if multiple projects get added to one studio. If it gave me a message for every project and someone came and added all of my projects to one of those studios I'd have 300+ messages. And then boiling hot steam would come pouring out of my ears.

That's a good point. Perhaps you could control what notifications you receive?
