Because you click the record button to record.

It's probably just me, but I can't click the “allow” button for webcam projects. Also, I can't right-click the project player and tell flash to remember to automatically turn on the webcam for webcam projects, like I did on the alpha site.

I'm using Firefox, btw.

Hmm I don't know if this really is a glitch, but whenever I draw a line, some funky thing happens and it moves the line slightly. Second, i know theres an undo button but scratch 1.4 had ctrl z to undo which is much easier. Perhaps you could add that in?

BUG: Lag

Firefox, Windows HP, all projects with music / sounds

Whenever a project has music / sounds in, one of these happens:

1. Firefox lags and Adobe Flash Player crashes once I fix the lag;

2. Scratch Player lags and makes game unplayable until sound finishes;

The only way I can descrease (by about 10%) the lag is by enabling turbo mode.
This bug has made me stick to Scratch 1.4. Scratch 2.0, at the moment for me, is to buggy.
I obviously check the website though.

Why are you trying to delete someone else's project?

My user icon in the upper right corner and on forum posts doesn't change but other uses of the icon changes.

Some stuff on the scratch website were i make it so you can drag it on the website some of the stuff won't drag.

Lightnin (and all other scratch administrators)-

I have no idea what is wrong with my computer. Every time I view any project (trust me, I have viewed as many as I can) my screen comes up empty. If I scroll down to the bottom, the normal “About Educators Parents Community Guidelines Contact Us” frame still comes up.

I use Google Chrome on a Windows XP Media Center Edition computer (I know. Old). I have tried using my Windows Internet Explorer, but it is too old of a version.

I have also been constantly have been having problems with my Adobe Flash plug-in.

I have thought of uninstalling and re-installing Google Chrome. What do you suggest?

I can't click on most things, for instance: The green flag. Any of the menu options (like control, sensing, looks etc.) But I get a hover-over change on the icon/text. I don't know if this is just me though…

Well i am making a project called MYTV and you can look at a screen with you on it and effects and stuff, i placed a square in the editor and accidentally pressed a button with my elbow and pressed undo because i deleted a square BUT it then later it deleted it again but i didn't do anything then i pressed undo and then NOTHING HAPPENED! Then i gave up.

Okay, here's the glitches:

In my project (link above) when I load up a world the backgorund doesn't change even though the scripting tells it to. To see this press “see inside” and look for the “generate world” block definition in the stage (the “switch to backdrop” block is near the bottom of the definition). Then press the green flag and enter a world size (17 maximum at the moment - I will get into that later), I would recmmend 5 for testing, as you will see when the world has loaded and appeared the “Generating World…” backdrop is still there - what is happening??

The other glitch is that the maximum clones of a sprite is 303 and I need at least 625 for my project - is this a bug or a feature?

If the project is blocked, notify me and I will share it (not sure if you “admins” can view unshared projects.

When editing the text in a costume I can enter text, but if I press “Del” or “Backspace” to delete a single text character, all of the text in the costume is deleted instead. I'm using Chrome.

Hello this is more something with the website than the scratch program. When I go to my messages, it shows that even when someone else replies to a comment I made on their project, it says “your project” like I created it.

Unshared projects, ( -2)?

Infinity is inacurate, it should be either error, 0, or the block never executes. I know 1/0 is undefined, but infinity seems unreasonable.

After importing a sound:

I add a reverse effect to it:

Then I undo the effect:


And then I duplicated it:

. The reverse effect comes back.

Deleting projects from “my stuff” can glitch and the project comes back.
Projects spontaniously appear in my stuf, titled “Untitled 1, 2 ect…”
Empty trash does not empty trash
