Favorite and least favorite genres of video games and why

Favorite:
RPG - these games are pretty sweet
Turn-based - Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Zelda <3
FPS - love shooters
TPS - love shooters
Sandbox - used to love Minecraft because I could pretty much do anything I want, GTA because absolutely hilarious things happen (eg. Swing Set glitch in GTA IV)
Platformer - Mario & Kirby
Roguelike - Nuclear Throne is best game <3 <3 <3
Party Games - I love playing with other people because most of the time everyone is laughing and having fun
Worst:
Fighting - Unless it's Smash Bros, everything comes down to button mashing
Horror - I hate scary stuff - no sleep :'(
RTS - Not good at keeping up with everything - Pikmin's okay though
Neutral:
Puzzle - love-hate relationship, hate how hard they can be, love how hard they can be
Visual Novel - pretty interesting, but pretty boring at the same time because most (if not all) is just reading and selecting pre-set dialogue

Favorite: Party (SO much things happen in ‘em, I especially like Mario Party and Wii Party. Also, who doesn’t like 1-vs-3 minigames? I like creating a challenge for CPU players) Platformer (One word: Mario) Sandbox (I love having things customised. I really like Boom Blox.) and RPG.

Least favorite: Puzzle (I'm really impatient with these. They are just tedious.) Shooting (ARGH, no. Just.. no) Miscellaneous (Yyyup. Some games that don't fit in any category. Although, there are some I like) Racing (Like Puzzle, it's tedious. Not counting Mario Kart and LBP Karting) 3D Platforming (Can be harder than 2D and can get boring after a while, but I'm OK with these)

Favorites:
RPG (Pokemon, everything)
Roguelike (Nuclear Throne, Droid Assault)
Cyberpunk (Cyberpunk is just cool.)
Satire (Does that count? lol) (DLC Quest)
TCG (Hearthstone)
Real-time straregy (Warcraft 3 is what I live for.)
FPS/TPS (duh.)
Interactive Story (Monster Loves You)
Tower Defense (PvZ, BTD are a few amazing ones.)
Endless Runner (Boson X, Canabalt)
Stealth (I suck at them, but still.)
Rage (I wanna be the guy, I wanna be the Boshy, World's Hardest Game, Point Perfect.) (Feels like you won a million dollars when you beat your highscore.)
Sci-Fi (I'm a nerd, must I explain much else?)
Philosophical (Gotta get the brain juices flowing.)
Story Based (Too The Moon (I cri errytim.))
Dungeon Crawler (D&D)

Worst:
Sandbox (Minecraft can be fun on occasion.)
MOBA (All just too similar to be fun.)
Idle (MUST. GET. MORE. COOOKKIIEEEESSSS.)
Zombie Survival (TOO DRIED OUT)
Horror (Full of cheap jumpscares and ugly unity graphics.)\

Neutral
Platformers (a few are amazing, like good ol' Banjo Kazooie.)
Tycoon (Game Dev Tycoon. A few are really amazing though like the Rollercoaster ones. Nostalgia ;-;.)
Made4Youtube/Stupidonpurpose (Kind of goes with satire but meh. Goat Simulator, Surgeon Simulator, Rock Simulator, I am Bread.)

Wow, didn't even know there were that many genres. Of course half of them probably don't exist and are made up in my mind. Lol

Favorite and least favorite genres of video games and why

Favoritie: RPG (freaking Persona and final fantasy). FPS (Up until the modern COD, I could enjoy most especially blood) and horror, any type. Besides jumpscare fests, so I naturally hate FNAF. *raises flame shield*)

Least favourite: Stealth (most, mgs1 I still love), I dunno why I just couldn't get into it, I don't hate the genre and its certainly rewarding but for the most part, I don't enjoy spending an hour of separated gameplay trying to act casual. And motion control gaems. I feel like they beat the point of games themselves. I dunno, I'm too lazy to lift of all of them. Just, rowing a boat shouldn't tire your arm if its just a game. Its supposed to tire your thumbs.

Favorites:

RPG- I'm somehow obsessed with this genre. You can tell a story really well with it, and the way you have to think about how you play makes this genre extremely engrossing. I also find grinding addicting for some reason.

Racing- As the genre I grew up with, naturally this is high on my list. Anyone can agree that going fast is fun. It's also fun to look at the minimap and see that I'm way ahead of everything.

Grid-Based Strategy- I'm starting to get into this. At first, when I played Fire Emblem- Sacred Stones, I sucked. That plus the emotional permadeath, and I originally hated this genre. Then I tried again, I did okay, tried Awakening and did awesome, and now this is one of my favorite genres for similar reasons to that of RPG. I got Advance Wars recently through Club Nintendo, and it's pretty dang awesome.

Least favorites:

Platformer- This is a game that requires split-second, pixel-perfect precision. Something I lack.

FPS- Mainly due to my conditioning. My parents (my mom especially) are really paranoid about me playing FPS, and I'm repelled by a few of them. Specifically, I don't want to be associated with the COD fanbase. Otherwise though, I'm starting to warm up to it.

Fighting- Requires split-second precision, which I already mentioned that I lack.

Horror- When you get freaked out by the first Generator Piranha Plant in Super Mario Sunshine at age 6, you know that you're never going to live through merely one of these.

My least favorite is Racing. I mean, I like racing, but they feel kinda mediocre compared to other great genres.
I'd have to agree with you there. But for my full opinion: just the above quote, but with Puzzle added to favo(u)rites (Why all of the puzzle hate?) and replace Racing with Sports. I enjoy Mario Kart, and sometimes I play a bit of Gran Turismo, but it isn't the most interesting genre to me. Racing fits under Sports (kinda) and I have the same opinion on Sports as I do Racing, except I think of it a little lower. Also, playing a bit of FPS is fun. I have a limited scope of FPS games though.
My favorite is Tapps productions because their games are the most fun and addicting. For example, Tree fortress 2 and all of the evolving games (platypus, cow, and the most awesome, goat), and my derp!
My least favorites are all of the cookie-clicker related games. They think they're fun, but NO. I'm talking about Make it rain and just Cookie clicker!
So YA

Don't forget AdVenture Capitalist, which is Cookie Clicker with in-app purchases. (I'm alright with that though.)
