Please Consider Being a Player!
The Scratcher 2013 is like a game show on Scratch. On this topic I will explain a few rules and how you enter. In order for this game show to start, at least 6 scratchers must enter as players. Also we need at least 3 judges.
If you want to be a player, you must fit into this criteria:
-Not very popular (this game show is to help Scratchers around the world get noticed)
-Somewhat active (On at least 3 times a week)
-Able to do necessary projects on time (please don't be late)
-You will have to make animations and games (for the game show, you don't have to be very good at it, as long as you CAN)
If you want to be a judge read this:
-Must be able to grade projects FAIRLY!
-Can't be a player.
-If you are popular but you still want to participate you can be a judge!
How this works:
This game will be somewhat similar to the show on TV “Big Brother”. To start off everyone will make a project to introduce themselves. This will not be graded. You will add it to the studio for this game show. After the projects are shared, a competition for “The Leader” will be held. Then a team challenge will be held. “The Leader” will not compete. The rest will be divided by me. The 2 teams will work with one another to make a project. The judges will grade the projects and decide which team won. The winning team will be playing in the veto competition. The teams will switch every time. After the team challenge, “The Leader” will put up 2 players for eviction. This means they can be voted out. Afterwards, the players on the winning team and “The Leader” will play in the veto competition. The judges will grade the projects and decide who won. The winner gets the Power of Veto, which allows them to take a player off of the eviction block and “The Leader” will have to put up a replacement nominee. In the team challenge, if an 2 teams can't be divided equally, “The Leader” will get to choose which team the extra player goes on. Then the veto can be used. The veto holder can decide to use it on a nominee or not to use it at all. Then, the players who aren't up for eviction will vote for which player they want to “go home”. This means, that the player evicted will be out of the game. I will make a farewell project thanking them for playing. This process will repeat until it comes down to a final 3. In the final 3 “Leader” competition, “The Leader” will be safe for the week and send one of the other players “home”. No team challenge will be held for the final 3 or 4. Instead, in the final 4 everyone would compete for the veto. When it comes down to the final 2, both players will make a last project, and the judges will decide a winner. The runner-up will get a follow from me, 5 favorites and 10 love-it's. The winner, will get a follow from me, 10 favorites, and 15 love-it's. They will also get the offer to be a judge for the next season.
Scoring System:
The judges will give projects a score from 1-10.
1=No relation to the assigned task.
2=Barely any relation to the task.
3=Some relation, but to short or not quite what was expected.
4=Relates, but lacks in a certain aspect.
5=What was expected, but not extraordinary.
6=A little better than expected.
7=A good quality project.
8=A very high quality project.
9=A great project.
10=A lot better then you expected and is nearly perfect.
The scores will be added up for how each judge graded.

Well we still have time. But if there isn't then I would just start one up next year and give everyone this year the second place prize.
