Okay if that actually happened that would immediately turn me off to the game entirely.

It would be get me more interested in the game just to see how exactly Megaman turned into a Pokémon in the first place.

Oh man I absolutely love Swablu, mainly because of its evolution, Altaria.

Whenever I'm playing Emerald it's always a toss-up whether to get an Altaria or a Flygon for a Dragon-type member.

Yeah in my last playthrough of Emerald I used a Flygon. I love Dragon types.

Anyways I'm doing a new run of Black 2, team so far:

Emboar lvl 38
Ampharos lvl 38
Lucario lvl 40
Krokorok lvl 37

Nice team, my most recent R/S/E team was (including nicknames):

Swampert (I think he was called Swampquake)
Breloom (I named him Rocky. Subtle, huh?)
Gardevoir (I believe her name was Gracieux, french for graceful)
Dusclops (His name was Ichabod because of Duskull, but later I realized that name was almost the complete opposite)
Walrein (Her nickname was “1967”, the year the song “I am the Walrus” came out, one of my favorite subtle nicknames)
Shelgon (His name was “Mr. Fluffy”, because after hearing about Mr. Tibbles the Garchomp, I just had to)

Yeah, it's unoriginal, but I had a lot of fun. While Gardevoir, Swampert and Breloom were fun to use, and Dusclops still very helpful (though not as much as I thought it would be) the most notable two members were Walrein and Shelgon. Walrein destroyed everything. Drake of the Elite Four was pathetically easy, and let me remind you he had a Salamence. Walrein took him down just by herself. Shelgon on the other hand was notable because he managed to be special and powerful in his own way by dishing out aerial aces and helping out in tight places. To be honest, I almost wish I didn't evolve him after the story.

Well, I don't play it myself, but you get packets of cards and use them in combinations to fight. The rules are a bit complex though.
