Agar io is a game about life, death, and massive, ominous blobs that roam the wasteland, now littered with the remains of those that came before them.

It's a game about cell mytosis! (kinda)

In agar, you play as a cell (whom happens to look like a blob)
If you envelop a cell smaller than you, you kill it and steal it's mass for your own nefarious purposes.
When you press space, you divide into two parts each equal to half of your original mass.
The bigger you get, the slower you become.
Though there is no chat, you can still communicate with others by pressing W, to eject a bit of your mass so that other players can have it. This allows you to form alliances and friendships, despite the silence.

Just a warning, there is no cuss filter on the nickname system, and there are some offensive skins to be found. I'll not link it here just in case, but I'm pretty sure it's fine considering that TF2 and FNAF have their own threads and they're MUCH more violent.

So yeah, discuss.

Just found that game a little while ago. I find it pretty irritating.

I've played it a bit and got to the top of the leaderboard once, didn't stay there long though . I'm also trying to make it Scratch although I'll probably never finish it because it is so buggy.

I would think it'd be pretty easy to do in scratch with some maths, the worst parts would probably be collision and multiplayer (which would probably take a wizard. Paging @griffpatch and/or @dadofmrlog )

I saw my friend playing this at school. Fun, if you don't count the ‘stop having fun’ guys that hang around with utterly ginormous cells and are more than happy to abuse the splitting physics to eat you.

Thing is, pretty much the entire game revolves around splitting. You just gotta accept that everyone is out to get you, from the start. It's part of the strategy.

Although you can also feed other cells constantly, and 99% of the time they'll be your friend if you're generous. I've made friends with an entire server before and become #1 easy peasy.

So, we're gonna do the whole “WE'RE GONNA TALK LIKE THIS IS AN ACTUAL INTERESTING GAME TO HIDE THE FACT THAT IT'S A JUMPSCARE SITE” gimmick? Okay.

It's cool, a lot of jumpscare sites have pretty short names and random domains too. I get the confusion.

Just played some. Rather fun game. Seems to have a lot of strategical players.

Teamed up with my friend one day and we d o m i n a t e d the leaderboards. I think I got over ~12000 mass at one point. Then I got bored and mashed the spacebar haha
