*OLD TOPIC DO NOT JOIN* Super Mario Scratch!
Really?BTW I am currently working on the indev oh. yeah, i think we will be fine starting from scratch.
im assuming you are new here judging by the number of pposts you have. by scratch he means not having a pre-made set of scripts that we modify to suit our game. indev is short for In Develoment- its a game stage of development. check wikipedia.
And that is an application for the team. below that is my feedback. and since he didn't specify which team he wanted to be on i asked him to.
i will release it when i finish the engine for team B as well.
you know that we will have to combine them at some point, which means we will have to take the artwork and the scripts and manually copy them over to the other team's project? the combine tool wants to delete all of the current scripts in the project.

My mom has issued a “no electronic” week today. I apologize for the inconvenience, but it can't be helped. See you in a week, though!

I was thinking the same thing! If they're both seperate, they'll have to be connected.
Also, is this being done in 1.4 or 2.0?
PS: I'm happy to say that I'm getting some sprites together that you cqn use if you want.

good question. i haven't had any assigned work yet so i dont know. 1.4 would be the better choice if we want to complete both projects seperatley and then move them together, but 2.0 runs faster. when i make games in 1.4 and then upload them in 2.0, they are unplayable because all of my carefully timed “wait” commands are now not correctly timed anymore.

I'm back, if we're still doing this!
Well, the Scratch Team has said they're working on the offline version of 2.0 and it should be released before summer is over, so we shouldn't have to wait too long.

I, myself, would absolutely LOVE to create some sprites. If you want, I can make something to prove that I'm up to the task? Overall, I REALLY want to become a spriter!

To anyone who still cares, I have resurrected this project in a new thread: http://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/52091/
You WILL have to reapply, however, and we have started over, so no work was carried over from this thread.
