You can advertise your projects in the Show and Tell forum, your forum signature or by putting them in relevant studios. Remember though, Scratch isn't about fame; its more for learning how to code.

Technically, views aren't a big deal, especially, since there isn't a most viewed section, so your projects don't necessarily get more popular if you get more views. It is possible to download the project to your computer, edit it with something like notebook++, and then upload it back to Scratch (that's what hacked blocks are, just blocks that have been edited outside of Scratch), and it will have more views (If you edited the right code in the right way). Search “hack” in the search bar (The one in Scratch) and you will find some tutorials for how to do it. Those will mostly deal with hacking blocks, not views, though.

Views aren't that important, but you could curate studios and put some projects in them.

how to get more views???
Here are my best suggestions for more views
- Have an interesting thumbnail for your project.
- Use scratch's default tags when they fit a project. If none of them fit, use some non-abstract tags.
- Title your project something interesting.
- Advertise in the shot and tell forum
- DON'T advertise on other people's projects- this will make people less likely to view.

Very important. The title gets cut off to be pretty short, but you can potentially add more text to your thumbnails. For example, on my project Jetski Escape, I put together a thumbnail image with a swaggy font for the logo, a zoom-blurred in-game screenshot, 3D renderings of my in-game models, and an explosion in the back for good measure Have an interesting thumbnail for your project.

Pretty important. Try to use widely-known tags. For example, for a 3D game you might use the tags “3D” and “Games” Use scratch's default tags when they fit a project. If none of them fit, use some non-abstract tags.
Very important. Keep the title short enough to not get cut off on your profile, if possible. Title your project something interesting.
Not very important. No one ever reads posts there. Advertise in the shot and tell forum
Yep, you appear unprofessional if you do that. DON'T advertise on other people's projects- this will make people less likely to view.

here is one way to make it look like you have lots of views.
(1) open the inspect element box by doing the keyboard shortcut control-shift-i
(2)find the icon inside the box that looks like a mouse pointer.(it should be in the top left)
(3)click on the views icon(or you can click on the loves or favorites)
(4) you should see a line highlighted. click on the little arrow and you should see a number
(5)double click on that number and enter a whatever number you want in it's place
(6) enjoy however many views(or loves or favorites) your project has now but do not reload the page.
I hope that this made sense.

Hi there! Please don't post on old topics, as doing so is called necroposting, which is not allowed. here is one way to make it look like you have lots of views.
