Hi! I've been thinking for a while, what are two of the most awesome things? Well, there's My Little Pony, and there's Harry Potter! So, why not do a crossover series? My Little Potter : The Alicorn Crystal.

This is just season one of said series. I'd like to be sure of a few things first. If you support this idea, say so below. If I get maybe 10 or 15, I'll add a character list to this for voice actors.

Second of all, if you are interested in animating for the series, say so below and post a link to one of your best animations. If you're hired, I'll comment on your project and to you on this thread by saying how awesome it was. Look for the keywords: This is so awesome! Please be aware that if you are accepted to animate, you won't be able to do anything sloppy or laggy. This needs to be some good, grade-a animation.

Also, if you are interested in creating original music for the series, you can compose it and put a link to a project with it below! The Harry Potter and MLP series will pretty much work with any music you have, so please contribute!

Thank you to everyone willing to play a part in this! I'll include everybody who plays even the smallest part in this in the series credits!

We will also accept fanart for the series, after the character list comes out.

I think some people out there would do it, but all people like is that Warrior Cats thing based on some books. I would love to help but I have not seen any MY LITTLE PONY episodes, but I have read all the Harry potter books two or three times. So I could maybe be a voice actor?

Thank you! It's great to see somepony on board with this.

They would go pretty well together. The only question would be the elder wand, because wand is pretty much the equivalent to horn.

Twilight would make a good Hermione, since they're both smart and would do things others frown at (Hermione subscribing to The Daily Prophet, and Twilight reading about griffons).

Yes, you can be a voice actor! Thank you for volunteering. True, lots of people are into Warriors (I'm a bit of a fan, too), and that wouldn't do too much to make My Little Potter a reality. You don't need to watch My Little Pony to do this, since it's pretty much ponies roleplaying as Harry Potter characters with minor changes to the plot. Again, thank you.

hmm i think rainbow dash would fit in with harry potter because they are brave
if it works then i also want to voice actor for harry potter/rainbow dash

Read my mind, Rainbow would be a perfect Harry. Both are also very loyal.

I'd love to have you as Rainbow, and I'll be holding auditions if enough people agree. I'll try hard not to spoil the series for you.

i was thinking of making one myself i was wondering if you have any ideas and i have some idea (like flim and flam being fred and george) so thx i will be waiting for you reply.

Well, that would be copywriting because there is a Harry Potter reenacted by ponies video on youtube and Fluttershy plays Hagrid.

Rainbow Dash would make a perfect Harry! And Apple Jack would be a perfect Ron and Apple Bloom could be Ginny. Rarity could be McGonnagal and Princess Celestia, Dumbledore! U could have the Wonderbolts be the quidditch team and Spike could be Hedwig or Crookshanks. ITS A PERFECT MATCHUP!

Film and Flam would be the perfect Fred and George! Both of them sell lots of things, and they could be apples (the cutie marks, the apple-products - Applejack's long-lost cousins!) I think that Dolores Umbridge could be Starlight Glimmer, considering how she acted to the mane six and their cutie marks. (Plus, she's a unicorn, so double.) Discord is definitely Snape! They're both against the protagonists. Zecora could be Slughorn. If we go with Apple Bloom as Ginny, then Luna Lovegood could be Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo as Harry's biggest fan, Colin Creevey. Pinkie Pie could be Neville, but that would only be because of the goofy things they both do. She'd make a great Luna, too. Fleur Delacour could be Fleur Dis Lee.

I can see that. Although, the only reason I wouldn't be on board is because we haven't seen Pumpkin's personality in the show. Twilight is a total bookworm, and she fits Hermione's personality to a T. Plus, Hermione is considered “the best at magic” for her grade. Twilight Sparkle was considered one of Celestia's star pupils, so I think that she'd make a great Hermione.

That's a great idea! I was originally thinking that she could be like a student since she's around the same age as the mane six, but she'd also make a great Hagrid. After all, she's the only one who'd call a blast-ended skrewt “adorable.” If I had to choose another pony, the only other option is Tree Hugger, but even that's a stretch.

Either Dumbledore's brother or Professor McGonaggal (I prefer the latter, but either would work).

Nice! I was thinking that Rarity could be Patil or Lavender and Luna could be McGonnagal, but they could be different. Spitfire is captain of the quidditch team for sure. I was thinking that Spike could be Hagrid's baby dragon, but he'd also make a great Crookshanks. I thought Hedwig would be Owlicious, since they're both owls.
