I've noticed that lots of scratchers have made MLG projects. I've even seen at least 2 MLG studios. Does Scratch need to be anti-MLG?

Well, no one said we need MLG. But no one said we can't have it either (though I'm still not quite sure what it's supposed to be about).
But don't make a fuss over it or we might have chaos.

As long as those projects are age appropriate, there shouldn't be any reasons on why they can't be shared.

People usually create MLG montage parodies. The youtube ones are highly inappropriate for Scratch, but on here, it's possible to make it follow the Guidelines. Also, there are some weird MLG games around too.

It's a popular meme. They're OK as long as they don't contain any drug references or violence here.

Scratch seems to take popular memes and make them more appropriate.

That totally works for me.

The Scratch version of MLG seems to be overused effects, illuminati, doritos, and air horns. IDK what it's like on youtube - but it's pretty funny on Scratch and I think it's fine.

The Montage parodies came from actual serious videos that were very similar to “MLG” videos.

There's no reason for Scratch to be anti-MLG, but if MLG projects break the Community Guidelines, they should be reported. You are saying that there are a lot of MLG projects/studios, so it should be banned. That's like saying that there are so many platformers on Scratch that Scratchers shouldn't be allowed to make them.

But yeah, MLG projects are perfectly fine if they go as far as overused graphics effects, blaring air horns, and spinning Doritos packets. xD

We make MLG ‘cause it’s dank

We make sure to keep it appropriate though, no swears, drug references, etc. I often have to edit sound effects and music to keep it appropriate

Scratch does not need to be anti-MLG because afaik it's not a problem.
