Block Changing Speed

Not sure if this goes here, but anyway…

If, say, I use this script:

when gf clicked
forever
move 1 steps

then will the sprite move at the same speed for everyone or will the speed of the sprite depend on factors such as the viewer's computer speed?

Any ideas?

Thanks

This is a question about the scratch site itself, not code that someone has made.

That was precisely my thinking.

I think (speculation) that only “turbo mode” depends on your computer. The speed of “move” is deliberately slowed down so it will be the same for everyone.
