It's super annoying when people put a lot of line breaks in their posts. For example,

This just wastes lots of page scrolling time and it hinders the ability for people, like me (sometimes :p) from reading all the posts in a topic before replying.

Please add a line break remover that automatically removes all giant line breaks. Thanks!!!

Yes. I'd say to implement a script that reads the comment, and counts up the number of consecutive line breaks, and if it exceeds a threshold, such as 5, it removes those extra lines. Also, we need a similar method to get rid of smiley spam.

Yep. {threshold reached. No more smileys beyond this point.}

I hate it when people have a post like this:

blah blah blah [insert random words here]

And they (possibly unknowningly) add 2-3 extra lines of space at the end of their post.

Yes, I support! Sometimes, I see these notes:

Excessive space removed by a moderator- please refrain from doing that in the future!

If we could have a line break remover, it would have prevented the note above. So… +1000000000000
