Honestly, I'm skipping the Dawn of the Clans books - at least until they're finished. They weren't written very well.
After reading The First Battle, my reaction:
Gosh Clear Sky, How many cats can you kill in a moon? You have some serious anger issues.

I had exactly the same reaction!(Well, sort of, anyway…) I finished The First Battle, but most of the books are checked out, so there's a time to forget everything that happened while reading Chronicles of Narnia…
My reaction:

Ok… Erin Hunter is going bonkers.
I don't like Dawn of the Clans at all. Nothing to read that's uplifting, exciting, or action-packed. At least to the way people would enjoy it. Who cares about the earlier cats? We wanna know about ThunderClan.
THUNDERCLAN?!?! Well…yeah, but almost, almost EVERYTHING happens in ThunderClan, in my opinion. But most of the events are actually interesting! *cough cough* “interesting” *cough cough* I'm just glad I read all of the original series…

I read Hollyleaf's Story a couple of weeks ago. Good overall, but something about it bothered me. I'm not sure if it's because it's been two years since I read a full Warriors book and I can just judge the series a bit more objectively now, that I've just improved at writing since then and now more easily recognize flaws in the series, or that Hollyleaf's Story just wasn't as well written as other books in the series released around the same time.
It might be because Fallen Leaves is like 100x older than Hollyleaf.

We did. Am I the only one who thinks that the age difference between Hollyleaf and Fallen Leaves isn't even that big of a deal? Fallen Leaves is a ghost anyway, and their relationship seemed more platonic than romantic.

You're not the only one, I don't think it really matters either…It makes me wonder why people make shippings with the characters in the book, instead of just going with the pairs… But then again, I do it sometimes, so I'm just contradicting myself. -_-'

I know! They're making a present day cats arc based off of Bramble and Squirrel's kits. They have one special family.
Pinestar= Famous/Infamous leader, became a kittypet
Tigerstar= The main Antagonist
Hawkfrost= A main antagonist, part of a prophecy
Tawnypelt= a main character in 2nd arc, part of a prophecy
Bramblestar= One of the main characters in the 2nd arc and had a super edition dedicated to him and was part of numerous prophecies.
Firestar= The main protagonist
Leafpool= 2nd arc focuses a lot about her relationship with Crowfeather, received many omens
Squirrelflight= One of the main characters in 2nd arc, part of multiple prophecies
Lionblaze= Super strong almost invincible guy, main character in 3rd arc and 4th arc
Jayfeather= He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're aw- nevermind. Main character in 3rd and 4th arc
Hollyleaf=Main character in 3rd arc
Squirrelflight and Bramblestar's kits= main characters in 6th arc

Yeah, but personally, I don't really care what people ship. Myself? I've shipped Jayfeather with both Cinderheart and Briarlight at different times.

i can't wait for Bramblestar & Squirrelflight's kits.
they're my favorite characters in the books (other than Jayfeather, of course.)

Excuse me.. I've read up to the fifth one. The sixth doesn't come out till september, but that's the part where the five clans are formed. SkyClan, ThunderClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan. Clear Sky is the leader of SkyClan, Thunder is the leader of ThunderClan, Tall Shadow is the leader of Shadowclan, and River Ripple is the leader of Riverclan.. To be honest.. I love all warriors books. I heard about it in 2012 (i think) and BLAZED through the books. The moment a new one is released, I nag my mom to buy it xD
But anyway… We all have hour opinions.
Excuse me. But Gray Wind is an old nag.

Warriors didn't even exist yet when I was five. I first heard of them in fourth grade, which would have been in 2006, I think.
