the wizards of the coast site went down at the same time, are MIT and wizards of the coast owned by the same mega-billionaire?

The filter literally just stopped working. Nothing got censored. A bunch of users started using inappropriate words, and they also made accounts with inappropriate usernames, since the usernames weren’t censored.

It was chaotic. As a matter of fact, it was so chaotic that the Scratch Team temporarily disabled comments and forum posts throughout the entire site for a bit while they fixed the filter. No one really knows what happened yet, but it probably wasn’t an attack of any kind. Probably just a glitch.

It's still crazy that the glitch managed to delete most of the filter, since the admin panel wasn't working.

And at the exact same time that so many trolls were active. Very bad timing

I mean, the trolls were active since the day before, and the ST was already having trouble dealing with them. They were also targeting well known and experienced forum users, mostly just members of a certain studio.

I'm guessing that by that, you mean the Forum Helpers?

I mean, there was also an unrelated spammer attacking me on a separate discussion that wasn’t good, either. It affected a number of spammers.

The filter stopped working and because of this, many inappropriate comments were posted. The ST closed the comments and forums down for about 30 minutes until they got the filter working again.
