Is Squiggly going to look something like this?

Draw shape [red] [square] at x: [12], y : [0] :: grey
Draw text [black] [hello] at x: [23] y: [92] :: grey
save (onscreen-code :: grey) :: grey

// no color yet.

Probably not. The engine side of things will be slightly more complicated.

Squiggly, Official Topic

This is the official topic for my newest collaboration, Squigles. This is where the work gets done, and all the information is stored.
What is Squiggly?
Squiggly, is a pen engine system. It uses pen for everything you see on screen, and has text as well as circles and much more. To demonstrate, the Squiggly project will be a note-pad with multiple fonts and drawing tools. When done, you can save your image into a compact save-code, and then you can share your drawings and/or notes with the world.
What is a Pen Engine?
a pen engine is something that uses the pen to draw things on the screen, instead of costumes. This project is going to be mostly pen (except the layout) and is going to feature the engine in the creation.
How can I help?
You can apply for a job in the applications topic.
More coming soon!

How did you make that add for Squiggly in your Signature?(Sorry for off-topic )

Could I be a coder?
Q: Is there a project that I am suppost to remix to code my part of Squiggly?
Or am I suppost to create a new Scratch project to code my part?

I made it. It was made using Canva.

See here for more details.
Currently, the project is on break while me and the collab owner figure out how the project is going to work moving forward.

visit the * applications part of the thread, copy the * application, fill it out in a new reply and submit. We will not accept applications that are not using the form.

Accepted! Please note you may have to test things more often than just when we update the project. Anyway, we'll get in touch when we start Alpha testing.

To everybody else: We're going to need to combine project elements and settle on an interface style. We might get a GitHub repo to help with some things, but I'll get to Mr. P on that. If you already have a task, keep working on that. If you are working on a part of the interface, try to touch things up a little. Hopefully, we can get the core pen engine done by at least the end of the summer.

Also, can you give me a link to the project so I can test it?

*facepalm*
We do not have a test complete project for Squiggly. You'll need to hang on for a while. However, here is a link to a directory of the projects' “branches” so to speak, so you can test, give feedback, and report bugs. (however, the latter may take a while because our bugfixer is AWOL)

Hi and I wanna check out your latest project before joining this collab. Thanks.

p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-

Hi, it's me, the owner.

When I created this, I had big aspirations for a huge project to revolutionize the pen tool. Unfortunately, it was short lived.

Right now, I'm on an indefinite hiatus, meaning that I may never fully return to scratch. I have put a lot of time and thought into this decision. The reason for doing so is that I don't have any time in my life anymore for stuff like this as schools re-open, and other personal events going on in my life.

I loved working on this for the time I did, and if somebody else wants to do that too I support them in doing that.

If you want to make a new topic, first:
Read all of the discussion (all 15 pages because moderators and other people wrote important things in there)
Get approval from @TheGlassPenguin (If you are TheGlassPenguin, then you're good to go)
Ask in my comments to confirm
I will close this topic and you can copy and paste the stuff in this topic to make a new one.

Thank you for all the members of this topic, and sorry this collaboration fell apart so fast. I hope to cross paths again in the future, if I ever to return to scratch. ;)
