Problem is, people are getting banned for no reason. One person I know got banned because some jealous mean guy banned her because she had more followers than him! I am serious about this. Another person got banned because someone was calling him names and then someone else thought that the culprit was the now-banned person. Please, Scratch Team, please unban the Scratchers banned for no good reason!

Post below here if you agree with me!

People can't ban other people–only the mods/ST can ban people.

I know, but someone reported them and the Scratch Team banned them.

“banned for no good reason”

I'm fairly certain every ban is for good reason.

Then it probably was for a good reason.

If that's the case, then they were banned for good reason. Contrary to popular belief, reports are not a tool that cause us to just randomly ban people - when we receive one, we review the evidence and see if the person in question was actually breaking the community guidelines. In fact, falsely reporting someone who is clearly not breaking the rules is something we frown upon, and doing it multiple times is grounds for a ban in itself. Anyone going around reporting other Scratchers for bad reasons will probably end up with a ban themselves, not their target.

Keep in mind that when we look at the details of a reported user, we can see all their activity on Scratch, much more than the average user, so you might not necessarily have all the information we do. We won't ban someone who wasn't in the wrong, and anyone who is banned is able to contact us to appeal and possibly be allowed back on.
