How do you make a command happen when a sprite is not clicked?

Skill_Games

Can you provide more detail? If you mean when the mouse is on the sprite without clicking, use this:
forever
if <touching [mouse pointer v] ?> then

end
end

If you want to perform an action at all times when a sprite isn't clicked, use this:
forever
if <not <<mouse down?> and <touching [mouse pointer v] ?>>> then

end
end

codeman1044

use this boolean to detect if the sprite is not currently being clicked:
<not<<mouse down?>and<touching [mouse pointer v]?>>>

Skill_Games and codeman1044,
if <not <<mouse down?> and <touching [mouse-pointer v] ?>>> then
broadcast [l. drwy lgt off v]
end
I tried this, but it didnt work.

I want to make a certain sprite appear when I click a button and for that sprite to disappear when I let go.
I was using
when this sprite clicked
broadcast [l. drwy lgt v]
when I want the sprite to appear and what you told me to have it disappear. Am I doing something wrong?

JKBisms

make it look something like this
if <<mouse down?> and <touching [mouse pointer? v] ?>> then
broadcast [ v]
if <not <<mouse down?> and <touching [mouse poinyer? v] ?>>> then
broadcast [ v]

end

end

idk if that will work, but it's worth a shot.

can you help me with one of my problems? It's directly under this post. I saw yours and decided to try to help, and some quid pro quo would be nice (that means If I help you, can you help me too? Like, the other phrase, if you scratch my back, I scratch yours.)

I didn't realize your circumstances completely. Let me adjust my code.
when this sprite clicked
broadcast [show v]
wait until <not<mouse down?>>
broadcast [hide v]
This will hide your sprite when you let go of the button.

ItsFoxy87

ill try that
