So I found this while searching.

Hmm.
Maybe it's a super secret project / forum that's being built before our very eyes
A Scratch mentor club sounds like a great idea as well - sign me up

That wasn't there before! :O anyhow, when are they going to remove the dustbin and mod forums from the filter

ErnieParke
The mod forums are still here, just they're only used by the mods. As for the dustbin, I believe that's a section of the forums dedicated to deleted topics, so it's still an active topic per say. Still, both could be removed for regular Scratchers. That wasn't there before! :O anyhow, when are they going to remove the dustbin and mod forums from the filter
And yes, scratchisthebest, this is a project by the ST. Now, what it is, who it involves, and what it'll be like? Who knows.

I meant that for non-modes those filters should not appear. Anyways, what do you think this project is and will be like? One old Scratcher helps a new one? That would be awesome! It's probably be placed in the Welcome to Scratch group on the discussion home. The mod forums are still here, just they're only used by the mods. I asked the ST about this, and I think that they'll be stopping by. Because of that, I'll leave it up to them to describe the program, but from my guesses, it'll have something to do with mentoring, hence the name. As for the rest, we'll see.I meant that for non-modes those filters should not appear. Anyways, what do you think this project is and will be like? One old Scratcher helps a new one? Yep! We're working on a new program called Scratch Mentors.
It's definitely a work in progress – we'll be releasing more details about it in a future post.

A Scratch Mentor club sounds like an AWESOME way to help out our new Scratchers!

Well remember, they're replacing the mod system, so maybe only ST can see it. It appears to be secret. It doesn't show up on the forum index even for mods.
BTW, you've been an awesome moderator!

Actually, it shows up for ST and future mentors, but past that, you are correct (and about sci). ;)Well remember, they're replacing the mod system, so maybe only ST can see it. It appears to be secret. It doesn't show up on the forum index even for mods.

How do you become a scratch mentor?
ErnieParke
You have to be handpicked by the Scratch Team and the current Scratch Mentors, and you also have to be active and helpful in the Scratch community. We only pick new Scratch Mentors when we need them, and we currently don't need them, so I don't think you'll become a Scratch Mentor so soon. Maybe in the future you will become one. How do you become a scratch mentor?
