Sorry man but NoMod-Programming explained before he was still working on the define hat, it's buggy and yeah. He got to draw an ellipse but that was slow.
He already responded to me. -_-
You noticed what I said was based on NoMod-Programming reply!?

NoMod-Programming reply?
SERIOUSLY

These are REPLIES, not like you're CALLING someone.

Because he made a mistake on the dropdown, DONT JUDGE HIM

ALSO I AM NOT MAKING FUN OF YOU

@Penguin5664 and @eribetra Can you guys stop arguing please? I already fixed the issue, for the most part, so you guys can stop arguing about that.

Yeah but he's still replying and arguing for a fixed issue bruh

And so are you.

Thanks! I'll see if I can do something about either a limited javascript interpreter or some kind of other way of loading scratch 2.0 extensions

Gross If it's just about GPIO / legos, you might as well reimplement the extension in native Squeak. If it's for extensions in general, just consider carefully why you want this feature and whether it's really such a good idea.

The problem with just re-implementing the extension in native Squeak is that a GPIO extension probably won't be the last extension that needs to be developed, and not everybody knows squeak as well as they know python or javascript. I might be able to provide some kind of python library to interface with Whiskers and create extensions, but I don't know how I will go about doing it.

Jonathan50

What about RSC? Still, Squeak is nice

I fixed it in the latest release.

OK!

Sorry for arguing.

But…

Are YOU sorry too?
Just asking :)

Changes to how the Windows installer will download: the button will take you to a page where you can download the latest version.
This is so GH won't email me every time I update the site.
The next version will also have a custom icon on the exe!

I still need Linux instructions as well as having someone look at the Raspberry Pi instructions to make sure they are up-to-date.

Also, if someone wants to make a macOS installer, that would be great!

SimpleScratch

+1 for keeping RSC as that is what my ScratchGPIO uses on the Pi

Although I can enable it by loading in a 1.4 project that has already enabled it - it would be nice to have menu option to do it within Whiskers
(Shift-click extra item on Edit menu maybe?)

eribetra

Tested Whiskers on Squeak 6.0 alpha and 5.0 and it's not much faster compared to Blockode with 6.0 and 5.0.

I can assume that 6.0 is faster.

Hm? 0.9a6?

I think you forgot to commit it to Github

Penguin5664

0.9a6 is already there?

NoMod-Programming, I may suggest you to change your signature, because of bad grammar.

"Whiskers, a scratch rewrite made to run on unsupported devices“

• ”scratch“ has a capital letter at the ”s“
• ”scratch rewrite“ has bad grammar.

”Whiskers, a rewritten Scratch made to run on unsupported devices“

or

”Whiskers, a rewritten Scratch 2.0 made in “Squeak!” to run on unsupported devices"

No, that is correct grammar. English has compound nouns:
scratch (n. adjunct) rewrite (n.)

I'm confused -are you no-mod as well as infinitytec????

I replied to your/other persons comment on my blog saying Pi instructions are fine (apart from a general issue with responding to keyboard input common to all images)

Nope. Different people.
I'm just doing the website.
All right. Thanks!
I'm wondering if everything needs to be called NuWhiskers, though. Can it be just Whiskers?
