2017-01-22T12:36:41+00:00stickfiregames2408821Since Scratch 3.0 is now well underway, and it won't use the Flash player anyway, I'm going to change to no support for this.

Vector graphics and sounds now work.

2016-06-19T00:26:25+00:00Hamish7522053548No support. Firstly, Phosphorous is an unofficial website not related to the Scratch Team. When running projects in Phosphorus, I find that they often work very poorly, and often the controls are completely broken. Also, Phosphorus allows people to view deleted projects, and we don't want to encourage that.

2016-04-24T16:20:01+00:00theonlygusti1942530I don't think this should be supported.

Not because it is a bad idea, I like the idea, but I am not sure whether Phosphorous is actually officially acknowledged by Scratch; imagine if one day the owners of phosphorous (they won't, but imagine they do, or if github pages goes down) decide to use their own site maliciously.

That way I can easily launch a project from my tablet despite not having flash installed.
Support!

I often want to run Scratch-projects on Raspberry Pi in its default browser (Epiphany) and that doesn't have Flash. There could be a warning though that the project may not work as it normally does in Flash.

In non-shared projects one can't even view the project page if one doesn't have Flash – and this should be fixed by ST. In shared projects the project-owner can make a link to Phosphorus, but many users will forget to do this.

2015-12-09T10:58:12+00:00gatzke1656614AFAIK, Phosphorus is on github. The scratch team could grab a copy of the code and run it on their own site if they wanted, assuming the license permits (MIT license, I think it is free to use and free to take, modify, close source and sell?).

I agree, the ST should offer a phosphorus variant to play as a Beta option when the device attempting to access won't run flash.

Plus, I had not idea that their security is so bad that unshared projects. That is a major flaw they really need to correct. Crazy! I just checked some of mine and it is still an open issue.
