About this Class

In this semester course students will be introduced to a creative computing experience using the Scratch programming language. Throughout the course activities, students will become familiar and increase their fluency with computational creativity and computational thinking. In particular, the course’s activities encourage exploration of key computational thinking concepts (sequence, loops, parallelism, events, conditionals, operators, data) and key computational thinking practices (experimenting and iterating, testing and debugging, reusing and remixing, abstracting and modularizing). Students will accomplish this through project-based learning opportunities.
