Cannot upload wav sounds to project

So, I am trying to upload a wav file (8-bit unsigned PCM) to Scratch, but nothing happens. In fact, any wav file I upload (16-bit signed PCM, 32-bit floating PCM) does not upload to Scratch. Only mp3's can be added into my project. Uploading wav files has worked before though.
My browser / operating system: Linux, Firefox 125.0, No Flash versions detected

maybe the file is messed up or corrupted in some way?

The files that were tested used to upload correctly times ago. They play correctly too in my operating system.

This happens only on Firefox for some reason, not Google Chrome.
