Using items also means you will either inspect it or use it with something else. This is still at the emryonic stage, so it is glitchy and not very long...

Insignificant storyline, but I don't think that was your main focus anyway. Perhaps it is that I haven't gone far into the game but I doubt it. It's a great text adventure, tedious as any other that I've seen. Good job!

i got to the bit with stairs a cupboard and a bomb. nothing in the cupboard works!
you have to use the stuff in the cupboard to make a torch, then you crawl into the hole in the stairs.
Well, I did manage to wake up but couldn't do anything after that no matter what I tried. Is there a format for commands? --Text adventures are fun so I'm eager to keep going!
sorry, there are 2 commands. look around (Important) and use *ITEM*. you are probably looking for the look around command. Good luck!

you need to make a torch, then crawl in the hole. if that is the level you are talking about. if you are talking about the first room, then you need to look at the table BEFORE you use the button on the lamp.
