Now updated, 21/12/11!
- removed the glitchy boss level and level 20
- neatened things up
- changed ending sequence
- removed some useless scripts, if you see any useless blocks left over from the previous version please tell me
- deleted A sprite and made its whirl part of the background to reduce number of sprites and scripts to increase overall speed and possibly stability
- currently experimenting with background music, current by JSO uploaded to Scratch Resources, if you have any suggestions just comment.
- And very importantly, LEVEL 13 IS NOW EASIER! Use the same method as in Level 12B, though it's on step 2 not 1 (you'll see)

This is Warp, my first working platformer! Play as Bounce on an adventure through the unknown of 20 puzzling levels!
STORY
Bounce, a ball, is testing a scientist's invention: warps! They take you to different places, and some even travel back in time! But when purple liquid starts appearing, Bounce's testing becomes more dangerous... Can Bounce find and defeat Evil Purple Guy?
CONTROLS
Left arrow - Move left
Right arrow - Move right
Up arrow - Jump
Down arrow - Warp (if touching a warp)
Mouse - Choose position for Click Warp (see game)
COLOURS
Brown - Platform
Light Green - Exit
Magenta/shades of pink - Warp
Yellow - Time Warp
Red - Click Warp
Purple - Don't touch
Dark Green - Resistor
Light Blue - Invisibility

awesome game, the jumping could be a tad faster though :) also, there's a bug that if you warp somewhere, and then jump, you can jump even in mid air

Actually, you can now press down on the first step on lvl13
*sigh* The dot is on level 12B. You need to press down on the dark green thing.

If the mouse-pointer is touching the ball thing, he appears, even though he might be standing in the invisible potion. The trick is finding him.

Um... Did you base jump off the wall? Because you can't do that now. Also that's Level 12 /time warped/ that has the warp.

(view all replies)Well, I beat it, and this is the best platformer I've seen on Scratch since ElStarro's Mr. Smiley's 2 (for which he gives me more credit than I deserve, but I did make the music.) Great controls, love the jump height, but when you jump into a warp or exit or death trap, you finish the jump when you respawn. That's the only glitch I found, so you should be proud, my comments usually are a lot more critical than that. Loveit+favorite!
