Thanks all I've updated the project which can now be found here (link to project) The ball should now bounce off the blocks downwards if it hit's the bottom of a block and upward if it hits the top. Please report any bugs.

i like how you can controle the the ball moves of of the paddle. as for the bouncing off the blocks you should use "if ball touching color blue turn 180 degrees" other then that this is going to be the best breakout game on the site

I agree there also seems to be glitch with the ball detecing the block sometimes... thanks the feedback though I'll see what I can do :)

I like it. Would be better though if instead of the ball going straight through the blocks if it bounced off them instead.
