Thanks! if you don't mind, can you maybe tell some people about it? i just want to know people may be watching for the next updates, which will come out often.
I'm already 1/3 of the way done with the new update lol
it adds a lot of lag-- also, i made the x and y velocity a global variable-- so it messes up how the balls move, and i really don't want to spend 30+ minutes replacing all the blocks that have variables.
Download this project!
Download the 23 sprites and 53 scripts of "bounce v0.1" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
Download for better results. In bounce, you control a bouncy ball and use all the different tools to move it, explode it, suck it into a gravity vortex, and that is all for the demo! CONTROLS click any icon to use the tool: nudger: nudge the ball in any direction. click to disable bomb: blow up a bomb that causes the ball to bounce far and high when hit. click to drop the bomb gravity vortex: hold the mouse down near the ball to suck it into a vortex, muahahahaha! press space to disable. Grey line: the long-awaited ground brush! just hold the mouse down and draw away! arrow keys to rotate the line. space to disable. green line: the not-asked-for but one of my favorites, the scenery tool! slightly grayer lines, so the ball doesnt bounce on them. arrow keys to roate. space to disable eraser: well, you can't have a ground/scenery drawer without an eraser! hold the mouse down to erase. space to disable
have fun, and leave a comment to suggest your tool!
KNOWN GLITCHES: sometimes, the ball will get stuck in the wall. to fix this, just use the nudger to get it out. -----FIXED!------

(view all replies)Cool, but the ground pen doesn't work onlikne :|
really? it works for me... try downloading, it is better downloaded anyway
Cool. You should add a button that adds another ball.
i think i found a way to reduce the lag-- i'll deal with the variables. I would say there is a 75/25 shot at multiple balls being in the next version
