That's a very good idea for sloop detection. Perhaps I will use it to enlarge (link to project) . I already made a link to your project in the description of it. It has jumping, x-scrolling and random controlled other runners, but no slop-detection until now.
Its advanced geometry stuff for triangles (trigonometry). If I remember correctly, they have something to do with ratios of the lengths of sides in a right triangle from a certain corner of the triangle. You'll need to learn some basic trigonometry to understand this fully.

cheak out mine! (link to project)
wanna see if we can put my physics into a massive physics engine and see if we make it to the front page?
The absolute value blocks you used weren't the normal ones???
This is a reallllllly old project; so it uses the 'legacy' abs() blocks.
(view all replies)you play toontown?
Check out my slope detection: (link to project)
Very Good

Try adding this to a platform/scroller so people can see the slope of their stages.
wow theres some smart kids out there
what does sin and cos do?HOW YOU WORK THEM?

(view all replies)I fell of the edge! lol!
I have a slope-detection project to with sensors by the feet
Excellent!
cool
Cool. I kept Jumoing and fell of the edge Lol
THis is way more complicated than mine!
I'v done a programme like this, a sledging system.
Very useful. Good job.
