it is our symbol, making fun or that "flag" could start war. it is a sign of freedom and independence, we love that flag. it gives peace. in fact, letting the american flag touch the ground(the big flags), after it touches the ground, you have to bury it. (^-^)
(view all replies)It's the only symbol of our country that unites everyone in it. We can't pick a religious symbol: freedom of religion. We can't pick a racial symbol: we're too diverse. The only symbol that has a common meaning to EVERYONE in our country is the flag. That's why.
