You should add a 1 level subsurf modifier to it to smooth a few of those jagged corners.
I could have done that, but at the time, I did not know which frame I wanted to use. I was also considering making another scratch project in which I played out the entire animation.
(view all replies)I did at first, but it would have added about 20 minutes to the render time. Also, the subsurface modifier dosn't work well with the fluid sim (it gives a weird look to it).

how did you get the water to freeze in mid air while the camera was going around it? Cool verce btw!
You have to apply the fluid sim modifier (it appears in the modifier stack when you turn on the domain).
