hmmm... but isnt there a security warning anyway? no squeak knowledge, but know many others, it is possible. When you open the .pt, save its directory to a var. You must know its directory at some point because you opened it. now, whenever a file block is called, just concat your directory variable with the input and walla!

to have the default location of the text file be with the .pt instead of the image

oh. well, my project is now fixed and I'm registering my name to my email, but is there any chance of changing that? It would make it a lot easier to make, say, a .zip file or something of your project + .txt.

Dear tcb, in response to your glitch report: when you fail to read or write sucessfully to a file, did you remember to give the path (e.g. c:\program files\) and remember to give the file type too? (e.g. .txt) as both of those are required. (the file path can be left out if the file is in the same folder as the Panther image file.

my apologies, I just read through your second report. The file path and file type is always needed and you can leave the path out if it's in the Panther folder (at least on XP you can)
