how do you make that bar thing on the variable?

With a transperent orange blank shiny sprite with a ghost effect of 50 and is cool and fun.

Wow, I've been watching this for five minutes and I'm still interested!

pretty cool but what are you supposed to use it for?

Who knows? I guess it just looks cool.

I think you could use the pencil sprite rather than that lame one people like to use.

I believe it is one of the default (came with scratch) sprites that you can find in scratch>media>costumes>things.
