alright i updated this one. SO it is better. Now please don't smoke or drink alcohol. It is REALLY bad for you. My grampa died at 62 because he smoked. I am sure a lot of people out there have lost a realative because of smoking or drinking. PLease NO SMOKING OR DRINKING
Now when you are an adult. A glass of wine like once a week is alright. It actually is good for you. BUT NOT WHEN YOU aRE A KID. Any alcohol as a kid is really bad and illegal. You have to be 21 to drink. Smoking is illegal when you are young too. PLEASE NO SMOKING OR DRINKING if u think this is good than PLEASE click love it if anyone has a no smoking project then please let me know

I am from The united Kingdom, (around birmingham). I drink responsibly, and very infrequently. The reason I had a sore throat, was because the liver needs water to process alcohol, and so it takes water from the body, NOT because i had had more than my body could handle. People who are saying I should be flagged have no idea how drinking really does effect you. When people abuse alcohol to the point of serious harm, this is the problem.
how old are you? I'm guessing you are an adult? Oh wait, can't kids in UK drink early or something?

i'm 12. my dad smokes and he and my mom are devorced. so he's gonna die early and i don't even get to see him every day. It would take me 28 years to see my dad the equivellent of 1, so i have less than the equivelent year left with my dad, most likely. if you smoke, you do that to your kid.
Im very sorry for you, have you talked to your dad about smoking? If he is trying to quit but can't have him put a picture of you and his family on the back of the box of cigarettes so whenever he goes to smoke he thinks that the more he smokes the less time he gets to see you. Maybe this will help him quit. Just tell him how you feel and tell him to quit. :) good luck

someone told me a guy told him that when you drink you just get thirstier, that is one reason why people always want more they are thirsty and that is the only liquid they want so do try this: http:// scratch.mit.edu/projects/300fans/191758 not drinking or smoking.
Sounds they are talking about how alcohol and some other drugs, like coffee are diuretics, which means they cause the body to lose water - making you have to go to the bathroom more.

I am 13. Last night I was alone with my friend and we got drunk on cheap, strong cider. We laughed at stuff that wasnt funny then collapsed into a messy pile, and woke up with a headache and a sore throat. We didnt hurt anoyne, or ourselves. ALCOHOL IS NOT THE PROBLEM. Idiots who abuse alchohol are. Not drinking completely is not the answer, moderation is the key.
It sounds like you were hurting yourself a little. If you wake up with a headache or sore throat then you drank more than your body could handle. That's not moderation. This is a tough topic, since so many countries have different laws about drinking ages. Chimpanzee where are you from? What are the laws in your country?

Hmm... Nice message, but drinking isn't that bad if you only have one like every 4 or 5 days. It does, though, lower your brain cells. Actually, it's illegal to drink PUBLICLY under 21, and no one really cares, so, if you're a kid, you can drink a sip or two on special occasions. Don't smoke.
A alchoholic beverage evry now and then actually can do more than you think. kids only drink a sip or two if they got to a church that uses win for communion

this is my first time on this site. i am an adult who is searching out a site for my 9 year old daughter. i want her to have a positive experience from the net and from what i have seen, i really think that she will enjoy this. kudo's to everyone who participates.
just be aware that every once in a while there is that ONE screwy messed up "project" that is inappropriate, i just flagged two of 'em. so please monitor your child on this site 'cause on the internet NO site is safe.
