Created By: Steve LoBasso Left and right arrow keys control the angle. Up and down arrow keys control the power. Space to shoot. Gravity and wind are randomly chosen when a new terrain is drawn. The value of a hit drops after every miss. You can hit your own fort, so be careful. The terrain is drawn using several quadratic bezier curves. The sine and cosine are calculated using a quadratic approximation.

this game is epic
pretty nice, this was going to be one of my ideas but i hadn't thought of how to do the landscape :D (maybe with tower blocks of random heights like in Gorillas). couple thoughts: considered doing landscape effects by stamping a white circle sprite at the place the shot lands? (looks like your collision detection is colour-based) blue bias may be something unequal in the random number generator (think I've seen that too). Could test that easily & just add a correcting constant to fix it.
(ie have it spew out a load of randomly XY located dots and see where the majority lie, and correct it such to make them 50:50 (or 25:25:25:25)) Would do myself, but i can't upload off my work connection, only download.

Is this based off of a game for the Mac? I remember playing a game like this on a CD called 600 games that went to the Mac.
I like the drawing of the cource. If you could have 2 types of weapon it would be even better.

i downloaded it but i couldnt understand any of it. but i did manage 2 get the bullets to explode and the ground to be yellow
