Hey everyone,
This is an artificial intelligence that I spent many long, confuzed, frusterated hours on, so I would greatly appreciate it if you pressed love-it.
This is my shot at an AI you can chat with. It knows quite a few basic phrases.
Talk to it like you would a real person, you'll be surprized at how accurate it can be.
If this works at all online, it will be slow, so I recomend downloading this and running it in turbo-speed.
If you ask it something it doesn't know, tell me in the comments and I will fix it ASAP!

I made an AI that if you call it dumb or stupid it gets upset until you say sorry.
Give him a secret name and make him answer to "whats your name"

i say "hello" and it says "what?"
I said "what do you understand" and AI said "What"
I LOVE IT! But it should know more compliments, I said you are awesome it said what, so I said I like you, it said what does that mean? Still, I love it!
I couldn't hate on it. It kept telling me it didn't understand what hate and dislike meant.
I made one that if you call it stupid or dumb it gets upset until you say sorry.
It doesn't know it's name.
You can improve it my making the project stop after you say "Bye!".
I had to explain what lol meant
i said do you like waffles? and they didnt know
"Good Morning, friend" 'What?' "oh dogs" 'I'm glad you get it!' "*facepalm*"
Haha! I said "AI?" and it said "What?" nice coincidence.

i made a really complex chat bot it would respond to your sentence with another sentence based on the previous two sentences if applicable i have since removed it from this site but i can repost it if you'd like a faster example of some good chatbots scripts

Although I am using flash, java won't work it's apparently out of date. Even though I've updated it 3 times...

I'm making one with a face, and when you call it an idiot or something like that it will change to a frown face until you say sorry.
P.S.: I haven't posted it yet, though.
(view all replies)This is really awesome! It's great as it is, but if you are going to add on, you could make it respond to statements about the player, or agreement to favorites.:)

There's an easy way you can allow it to learn new phrases. Just have it say "How should I respond to this?" then add the original phrase to a list and the response to a different list. Later, if the phrase is said again, it can find the phrase on the list and find the response in the same position on the other list. Also, if you don't reset the lists when the flag is clicked, you can add new phrases just by using the project and save
them by saving the project. Also, when you upload it the project online will have all of the phrases you saved.
Most of the time it says "what does that mean" or something similar. It only seems to understand hello and goodbye.

yes it does, you have to be running it in the java player, and everything must be lowercase. No punctuation either. :)

how do you make it know what you are saying?
I tell it how to respond to certain words. Example: "if you see the word hello, respond with 'hi!'"

Haha, thank you so much! It was for a science project. If I remember correctly , I spent a good 24 (not in a row of course) making this, but it was definitely worth it.

Then it should recognize the first part as a greeting and the second as an answer. Like it said a greeting and a question.
I have a great idea: When someone types "goodbye" or "bye" or etc. it should say: "Are you leaving?"

I also asked: "what is my name" AND "what is my name?" but it still said "What?"
That's because I only made it ask you your name so that it could show who said what on the list. Feel free to remix and program it to understand that!

Thank you! It figures out what the user is saying by identifying words that it understands, and ignores everything else. It does not look for the order that the words are in. thanks for playing! :)

For some reason, it keeps telling me that my password is incorrect. I tried using my Scratch password, and the one on the link you gave me. None of them work...
(view all replies)For 5 lines I thought it was smart. The next 4 lines, it kept telling me "What does that mean?". Line 10 went like Me: Shut up. AI: What does that mean? Me: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU!!!! AI: What does that mean?
Thanks for trying it out! It takes forever to add to its vocabulary. Feel free to remix it and add more knowledge to its data base.

ya. It doesn't know a lot, so it can't really deal with confusing or weird answers. :)
Awesome! It could use some work, but it is cool! For example when I said "you are nice" it replied "I don't know what that means.", so yeah ;).

haha, all it see's is "how are you". It doesn't recognize "old" yet. I'll fix that eventually... I'm super busy with a new awesome project. :D
