im kinda stuck on how to make the jumping better i want him to b able to double jump but not fly towards the sky and if u have any other suggestions let me know its not a game yet just an experiment

It's Maxskywalker again. I'm the one who just told you how to do a double jump. I used up all my typing space so I had to write in this box, any way, I never tried double jumping before so it might not work but if it dosn't, just note it in my project called, super jedi battle! Scratch on!
To double jump program When up arrow pressed change y positon by whatever heit you want him to jump at wait repeat 5 if else block and in the if section in the dimond secton go to sensing and put in a if up arrow pressed? and in the actone secton put in change y positon by 15 and in the else section put in a change y by -whatever heit you went up, I know it sounds complicated but once you actualy put the scripts in it you will be amazed that you thaught it was complicated! So enjoy! And scratch!
if you want it to jump right try using a script like repeat 7 times change y position by 5 if touching sprite background stop script repeat
