This is extremly useful for me, I swapped x and y mouse cordinets for x and y velocity and it worked! I also fixed the glitch where a coirdinet equals zero on my one. (link to project) You could swap x and y vel back for mouse coordinets. Thankyou for making this!
here you go: (link to project) it points off one end
p.s. I LOVE ALL YOUR PROJECTS! my projects are all very bad. look at them if you don't believe me.
Thanks and thanks for remixing. Yes, this can be done without trig, but the point was to do it without the point to mouse block. I was just helping jacool with his project.
The point was to not use that block. I was helping jacool out with his project. By the way, on "Magic Mind Reader," you were right, but I had to delete your comment so you wouldn't give away the answer.
This is my remix of jacool's project. It now works in all quadrants. There are probably other ways to make this work.
.: ORIGINAL NOTES:. This doesn't use the normal "point to" block. I need help with this project, I want to make it so that even if the mouse's X or Y position is smaller than 0 it works.

Can't you just do point towards mouse?
Yup. But here I was helping jacool find an alternative method, just as an interesting exercize. :)

I'm glad it helped!
(view all replies)Why can't you just do point towards mouse pointer?
You can, but jacool wanted to figure out a way to not use it. I helped him.
(view all replies)it can't point straight up, or down.
Uh-oh... [Sprite1 direction [?]]
Weird... and then it freezes...
Huh?
(view all replies)Excellent job. I love trig!
Thanks! So do I. :)

(view all replies)i think i know how to make it point starting from one end.
why dont you just do point in direction of mouse pointer?
Jacool wanted to make this without that block and needed help.
(view all replies)Very nice project!
Thanks Ahaan.
(view all replies)Couldnt you just use: (When flag clicked) (Forever Point towards [mouse pointer] ) Or were you trying to chalange yourself?

You are awesome in trigonometry, how old are you?
I am 12 and I am very good at trig!
(view all replies)Thanks jacool. It's impressive that you know some trig without doing it in school. Keep it up!
I'm 15.
(view all replies)Thank you :)
No problem. There may be other ways to fix it too.
Nice job.
Thank you. Jacool had an awesome idea!
(view all replies)awesome!
Thanks. Although, most of the credit goes to jacool. He came up with the awesome idea. I just added on to it.
