I was going to use this in a project. I exported the gun sprite but when I put it in the project it wont fire and it follows the mouse even when space isn't held. None of the other actions work ether. What am I doing wrong? I really want to use this in my project. Its the best first person gun iv'e found.
the scripts are fairly simple and only used for demonstration purposes. I suggest you delete all of them and make your own if they don't work as you want them to.
man, i give you credit because it is VERY hard to make good simulations on an engine like scratch, its easier to make games on game maker or somthing. very good.
i could make stuff like this but its pointless on scratch to use them....
have you ever thought about useing bge (blender game engine) you can make games with it like fps and 3ps platform over head everything!!!!
Dude Thanks for the gun! could you take a request though? could you make a dragonov sniper? Thanks for even reading this. But yeh AWSOME M4A1. i made a shooting range game out of it. thanks again.
rele kwl lol at ur comment in the sidebar nd ur rite just look at the bar in ww2 that was rele slow but it was still an automatic weapon great sprite nd can u teach me aswel pls. thanx 8)
its not that hard to make, i'll tell you how. do you have google sketchup, or some other 3D program? if not, get it here: http://sketchup.google.com/ you can make your own model, but if you aren't very good at 3D, browse for models here: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ and download them. from there, rotate, and zoom to get screenshots from different angles. save the screenshots as a .bp or whatever, upload into scratch, and add muzzleflashes/animations, and you're done! :D
how did i do this? i spent a lot of time on it. also, ive used sketchup for awhile and know how it works. i made it using some pictures off google images.
you will notice that there are no bullet sprites. in addition, keep in mind that this is scratch, and the point of this project is to be realistic, but rather to make a sprite that people can use for their projects.
this one is fully automatic. hold down the mouse, and bullets will keep firing, although a bit slower than they would in real life because its scratch and all. so there you have it. dont believe me, then look it up on google.
now, we have 3 types of automatic. semi, burst, and full. semi automatic means each trigger pull fires 1 bullet, no matter how long you hold it down. burst fire is very uncommon and usually only seen on specialized military weapons, it mean every trigger pull, usually 3, but sometimes 2, or 5, bullets are fired. and fully automatic means that as long as you keep holding the trigger down, the bullets will fire and reload themselves as fast as they can.
no lol. trust me, ive been around enough guns where i grow up to know what automatic is. let me explain. bolt action, pump action, or lever action, mean you must manually bring a new bullet back into the chamber, using your hand. automatic means that the force of the bullet is, in one of several ways (such as gas operated, using the gas from the bullet explosion) used to reload the next bullet without manual human intervention.
First, go here: http://sketchup.google.com/ and click download Google Sketchup. Then go here: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ and find a model you like. Download it, and then rotate around it and/or zoom in and out, so you get it from different angles. Take screenshots, put them in Scratch, and add little animations, muzzle flashes, etc. and voila!
*sigh* i made these for luxienX a while ago. they take me about 3 hours each, and i could do one, but i resolved to stop making scratch projects for a while, and just check my messages. i was making them like 1 every couple days and i needed a break. if u want, i can tell you how to make it though.
Can you do this after the m9? http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=5cf2bc46ad360e0176b7125ca47291cb&prevstart=0 It's a m4a1 with front grip and ACOG.
im not that skilled unforunetly :( lucienx just browsed the warehouse until he found something he liked and sent me the link. then i took screenshots of it from different angles, put the animation together etc, transferred it itno scrathc, made some minor edits in scratch editor, scripted everything, and posted it online. the whole process only takes a few hours!
The next project in my line of first person guns for LucienX. 3D Model made using Google Sketchup. Explosion animation, muzzle flash, and reload animations made using Scratch. Click to shoot. R to reload (autoloads at 0 ammo). 1 for silenced Carbine. 2 for underbarell M203 grenade launcher. Hold space to to look through the rail-mounted aimpoint sight. This wasn't easy to make, but I hope you enjoy it! Feel free to use as long as proper credit is given! -Radicalace
*Update* Now you have half a second once you have no ammunition to switch between M203 and Carbine before the autload starts.
OK! For some reason, everyone thinks this is not "fully automatic." Let's have a quick chat with my friend Wikipedia:
An automatic firearm is a firearm that fires continuously when the trigger is pulled, rather than firing a single shot per trigger pull. The term can be used to refer to semi-automatic firearms, which fire one shot per pull of the trigger, or full automatic firearms, which will continue to load and fire ammunition until the trigger (or other activating device) is released or until the ammunition is exhausted.
It appears as though that description perfectly fits this Scratch project. If you are referring to the rate of fire, then please say so, instead of telling me it isn't automatic. This is only a free sprite, not a gun simulation, and I put space in between frames so that people could see the variety of costumes I used. So don't start yelling at me about something that you have no idea what you are talking about.
If you really want it to fire faster, download it, go to the main gun sprite, and change all the "wait .05 seconds" blocks to "wait .01 seconds" blocks. Happy now?

turbo mode makes it fire rely fast. u dont haf 2 download it tho. shift clik on the gren flag in flash playr.
that is almost fast enough to look real
kool but the fire rate needs to be a little faster
nice m4a1 what did you use to draw it
google sketchup
Wicked...
And boring lol
oh and btw this requires variables. that means you cant export without those variables
this game needs a target for shooting the gun!!!!
I was going to use this in a project. I exported the gun sprite but when I put it in the project it wont fire and it follows the mouse even when space isn't held. @BigBellStudio Thanks man! It's me from school.

ok now u should make 3d fps maps a lot of people would use those.
i could make stuff like this but its pointless on scratch to use them.... have you ever thought about useing bge (blender game engine) you can make games with it like fps and 3ps platform over head everything!!!!
You made this on Google Sketchup??!!!! That's incredible, I only made a tommy gun, and even that was difficult! Well done
thanx :p
U ARE AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I even made a game out of your sprite
Dude Thanks for the gun! could you take a request though? could you make a dragonov sniper? Thanks for even reading this. But yeh AWSOME M4A1. i made a shooting range game out of it. thanks again.
np bro
awsone its 3d
thx bra
AWESOMENESS
Awesome altough i prefer the Unsilenced Carbine.

(view all replies)heres my version of your awesome project!!(link to project)
You are PRO!
thanks :D although its spelled "pr0"
(view all replies)AWESOME!
thx
(view all replies)It's automatic, but the rate of fire is a bit bad
its just to showcase the project, its not supposed to be a realistic simulation.
you should put somthing to shoot at but i like it
OMG noobs! that is called automatic!
me usey?
k
(view all replies)30bla30's is beter. it needs to be FULLY AUTOMATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
why does everyone say this isnt fully automatic? take a look at the project description.
lolcows its is fully automatic. whats not fully automatic about it?
when i say "automatic", i mean you should be able to hold the mouse button and a stream of bullets shoot out.
you will notice that there are no bullet sprites. in addition, keep in mind that this is scratch, and the point of this project is to be realistic, but rather to make a sprite that people can use for their projects.
This is the same gun. it's not automatic. automatic means one click and 7 (varies) bullets shoot.
Your talking about burst. Automatic is when u hold the trigger, it keeps firing like a machine gun. Firing a certain amount of rounds is a burst
this one is fully automatic. hold down the mouse, and bullets will keep firing, although a bit slower than they would in real life because its scratch and all. so there you have it. dont believe me, then look it up on google.

by the way, can u see my project PingPong 2.0?
this one is single shot.
no its not.
nice. could you make a automatic version?
ok. (link to project) heres the automatic version.
(view all replies)Thats amazing. Can you make an AK-47 with red dot sight?
First, go here: http://sketchup.google.com/ and click download Google Sketchup. Then go here: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ and find a model you like. Download it, and then rotate around it and/or zoom in and out, so you get it from different angles. Take screenshots, put them in Scratch, and add little animations, muzzle flashes, etc. and voila!

this is awesome!!, you could make an awesome game out of this
Now imagine combining it with a raytracer that creates a 3d world... That would be amazing.
if only scratch wasnt made for ages 6 and up.... *sigh*
can i remix?
very good
Can i PLEASE use this sprite?
sure
(view all replies)Dang, this is actually extremely good. It looks as good as a professional fps, good job
Very good
great
