I'm not loving this as in wow this is so cool or anything like that but for the fact that people need to open their eyes to the world and imbrace the fact that this is EVIL! SO I'm favouriting and loving it so that I support and WILL do my part in the world!
Guns cost lives, T-shrits cost money, but with what money can support witch go towards lives, SUPPORT=LIVES AND PEACE IS PRICELESS!!!!
I swear I'm choking back tears. I am utterly moved by this! I can't believe some of the people in this world, the fact that they must resort to violance and get kicks out of other peoples agoney! My dad works in Iraq and Kazacstan and he see's stuff like this all the time, he always tells me about these sort of issues with the world and it discutets me! I haven't seen him in about... coming upto a year now... This is really touching... <3<3<3<3
By the way, it's ''A Ugandan night commuter,'' not ''An Ugandan night commuter. It's this way since the ''U'' in ''Ugandan'' starts with the initial ''y'' consonant. Other examples: Ewe, user
OMG this is sooooooooo sad! I feel so bad for those poor children and I feel hatred for the people who beat them and starve them and force them to kill! (or be killed). If i could, i would raise money!
wow... this is a hole new side to plumberry.. before it was like kick but pow! naruto Stupid stick men moutercycle but now its real and amaising! Good for you! =}
Thanks triple x 27 =) I worked at the bake sale at the end of the day today. Sadly, I can't work there tomorrow. Let's see...last year, the bake sale (in a period of 2 days) made a total of $4000+. This year, we sell t-shirts, which also contribute toward the people in Uganda, so I'm pretty confident that we'll make more than last year. About 6 pages (with around 15 people per page) bought t-shirts for $12 each. It's just so amazing how much people care about this.
Thank you for the comment. My goal is to inform as many people as I can. It did not occur to me about the age limit, but I can see why you mentioned it. I'll add it in the Project Notes.
This should be considered a more mature topic, but, I don't expect anyone under 10 using Scratch, so that shouldn't really be a problem. The reason why I say 10 is because when I was 10 I was already running Linux by myself.
On-topic: Great idea to post this. It really is sad but at least it will to raise a couple of peoples heads to what is going on in the world.
I forgot to mention one thing, after the quote, click the button with the triangle to advance to the next scene. Please comment even if you don't like it. I know that this presentation might be boring, but please watch this project until the end. I want to raise awareness around the world about the Invisible Children, so this is one of the best ways I could think of.
A few groups of people from the Invisible Children INC. came to my school to inform us about these Invisible Children. They showed my school videos about the children that need our help. They sold the t-shirts and the bracelets. I bought the red one =). My History teacher also showed me the Invisible Children film (edited). It was really disgusting, but yet, inspiring, just like Dan Eldon said. I was really moved after watching the video that I just had to create this project to raise awareness around the world. My school is very serious about the Invisible Children, therefore my grad elevel is hosting a bake sale this Monday and Tuesday. All of the money raised will go to Kalani High School, who has adopted a school in the Schools for Schools program. Please take this seriously and tri, at all means, to help Some videos that can be watched on Youtube are Invisible Children, Invisible Children: Give Peace A TRI, and Schools for Schools: The Teaser. Thanks to a fellow Scratcher, I'm advising that you be at the age of 10 years or older to watch the videos on Youtube. Some scenes might be too mature for young kids.
