Nice project, but I have one problem with it:
Evyone says to use Compact Flouecent Bulbs, but so many people forget they contain Mercury, which is toxic in amounts, and believed by some to cause Autism. If they break, you need a toxic waste disposal team to come in and cleanm it up/
I don't believe in Global Warming, FYI. How do you know the strange weather isn't just natural? How do we know that melting ice-caps are OUR fault? Think about it.
Here's your score: Credit to sites.............................................qualification 10 ways..............................................................30/30pts Press space for next slide.......................................0/10pts Picture/animation.................................................5/5pts Effort................................................................5/5pts Bonus.....15pts Total Score 55pts
The reason I gave you bonus points is that I din't think it was fair I couldn't give you points for the "Press space bar for next slide" Also, (drum roll please) you got an HONARABLE MENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) congrats!!!!!
Quoted from wikipedia: Australia's new government formed by the Australian Labor Party after the November 2007 election fully supports the protocol and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd signed the instrument of ratification immediately after assuming office on 3 December 2007. Meaning we now HAVE joined Kyoto.
Actually, Canada quit Kyoto when Steven Harper came into office. When he was going to be elected, 'Environment, environment, environment' is all he'd say... But the first thing he did when he became prime minister is quit Kyoto
