(Continued 2) am wrong about any of this. I have no side for this war because I belive it is more complicated than most people think. If we leave, terrorist come and we may be blown up. If we stay, soldiers die. However, Only 4000-4500 soldiers have died in 7 years. In world war one, That number was in the millions for just 4 years. Just my (really long) 2 cents

(continued) While doing so, the soldiers have to be there to help maintain the so-called peace. However, some people don't want us there and that is where all of the bombings are coming from. If we back out now, we lose 7 years of hard work and the place will revert to what it was before. Also, if we gain that foothold by HElPING them, we open ourselves to spreading democracy in the middle east and getting cheapper oil prices. (Yes, some of this is about oil. Crazybutcool: The war isn't to take over the country. Please resaerch what you are talking about before you spout it out. The war in Iraq was started when some terrorists decided to hide there. There were also some rumors of nuclear weaponry there. We have desposed of the main terrorist (Saddam Hussien) who was the leader of that country and have found no a-bombs so far. Since taking out there leader (who was a tyrant) left them governmentless we decided to help them gain a democracy.
